How do I add the widget?

1. Unlock the widget in Tiny City (tap Get the Widget).
2. On your Home Screen, touch and hold an empty spot until the apps jiggle.
3. Tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Tiny City, and tap Add Widget.

How do I show a different city?

In the app, tap the city button at the bottom and choose any city, or My Location. For the widget, touch and hold it and choose Edit Widget.

Why does it show a nearby city instead of my town?

Tiny City draws one scene for each metro area, so suburbs share their nearest city's scene. Your own town's name and weather are still shown on top.

My city's scene says it's "being built" or "painting"

The first time anyone needs a city or a particular weather, Tiny City draws it, which takes about 30 seconds. Until then it shows the closest scene it has. After that, it's instant for everyone.

The widget isn't updating

Widgets refresh on a schedule that iOS controls, usually every 30 minutes or so. Opening Tiny City also refreshes it. If it still looks stuck, remove the widget and add it again.

I bought the widget on another device

Open Get the Widget and tap Restore Purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account. Family Sharing is supported.

Location says it's off

Go to Settings › Tiny City › Location and choose While Using the App. Or simply pick your city by hand in the app.
